Hello, this is Dave Woodard, founder of musicreadingforall.org
website and we are re-focusing on our project of Music Literacy-Music Reading for those who may not have opportunity for training in Kodaly-Solfege-Curwen processes of learning to listen and read music while transitioning to the additional skill of Reading and singing Note Names in simple, basic rhythms, up and down the C Major Triad, Arpeggio and Scale.
Solfege 110- C Major Scale & Triad/Arpeggios
with Quarter & Half Notes, Rests and
transition from Solfege to Letter/Note Names
C-Major "Tonic" Triad- To Establish Tonality: (Measure 1-2)
For More about Musical Notation, we suggest going to:
Higher Voices use the Treble Clef Staff or G Clef
Lower Voices use the Bass Clef Staff or F Clef
(Measure 1-2): C-Major "Tonic" Triad- To Establish Tonality: Bum Bum Bum Bum Bum (Neutral Syllable Sung on Beats)
Treble Clef or G Clef-Tells us where Note 'So or 'G' is for Upper Voices.
Bass Clef or F Clef - - Tells us where Note 'Fa' or F is for Lower Voices.
(For more information, we suggest: musictheory.net/lessons)
